Understanding subscription plans
How Starter, Professional, and Enterprise plans change what appears in your school’s menus.
Your school’s subscription plan decides which modules appear in your menus. This is the single most common explanation for “I cannot find this feature” — the feature exists, but it is not part of the plan your school is currently on.
Who manages the plan
Plans belong to the school owner, not to the school administrator. Owners manage plan status from the owner portal, alongside their list of schools. Administrators focus on running the school, and refer plan questions to the owner. If you run a group of schools, each school’s plan is managed separately from the same owner account.
The plans in practice
Starter
Core administration, academics, and portal essentials. This covers the daily heart of a school: sessions and terms, classes and subjects, students and staff records, score entry, report cards, and student and parent portal access. It suits schools that want their academic and communication workflow in one place.
Professional
Everything in Starter, plus broader operational modules — for example HR, medical, library, and transport, as listed on the Pricing page. This suits schools that want the wider operational side of the school running in the same system rather than in separate spreadsheets and registers.
Enterprise
The full operational suite, including the advanced modules for larger or more complex institutions. This suits school groups and institutions with substantial administrative operations.
What you’ll see
- Menus that reflect your plan — modules outside the plan are simply not listed.
- Core academic and portal features available on every plan.
- New modules appearing in the menus after a plan change.
Because unavailable modules are hidden rather than shown as locked, your staff are never distracted by features they cannot use.
Choosing the right plan
- List the tasks your school most wants to move into one system.
- Compare that list against what each plan includes on the Pricing page.
- Consider how many of those tasks are currently handled on paper or in spreadsheets — those are where you gain most.
- Start with what you will genuinely use. It is easy to move up later once your team is comfortable.
- Ask sales if you are unsure which plan fits.
Tips
- Do not buy modules you have no plan to adopt. Unused modules add menu clutter without adding value.
- Adopt in stages. Get academics and the portal working well before adding operational modules.
- Tell your administrator when the plan changes so they know new menus are expected.
- Review annually as your school grows and your processes mature.
Common issues
A module I expected is missing
It is almost certainly not included in your current plan. Ask your school owner to check, or review the Pricing page.
A colleague can see something I cannot
That is a role difference, not a plan difference. Roles are set by your administrator; plans apply to the whole school.
We need one extra module only
Contact sales through the website. They can advise on the best fit for your situation.
Who do I ask about pricing?
Use the website Pricing page for current details, or the Contact form for a specific quotation.
